Caminos Flamencos

Through Apr 20th

Caminos Flamencos, led by Emmy Award-winning flamenco dancer Yaelisa, perform in Encrucijada (Crossroads) at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The world-premiere production showcases traditional flamenco with special guest artists from Spain, accomplished musicians, and passionate dancers and singers.

Yaelisa performs with acclaimed flamenco dancer Alfonso Losa from Madrid. Spanish singer Ismael “El Bola” also performs, as does flamenco guitarist Antonio Sanchez, nephew of the great Paco de Lucia. Fanny Ara, Marina Elana, and Antonio de Jerez contribute dancing and singing talents to the production. Jason McGuire (“El Rubio”) also accompanies the dancers with fiery Spanish guitar.

A post-performance reception takes place on Friday, April 19, 2019 in the Cowell Theater.
