The Fort Mason Foundation administers two grant programs that provide assistance to qualified nonprofit arts organizations.

The first is the In Performance Series at the Cowell Theater, funded through the generosity of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and Grants for the Arts/San Francisco Hotel Fund.

The second is the Shulte Grants for the Arts, made possible through a bequest of the estate of Mrs. Leta Shulte. The foundation plans to announce future Shulte grant competitions.
