Drinking & Drawing

Presented By

Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture and The Interval

Feb 15th @ 6 p.m.

Grab a drink from the renowned bar-café-museum, The Interval, take a seat, and start drawing alongside 10 artists at Drinking & Drawing, an event curated by artist Jenny Sharaf.

Featuring artists Mistu Okubo, Koak, Brooke Westfall, Amber Jean Young, Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough, Scott Vermeire, Annie Vought, Barbara Obata, James Chronister and Jenny Sharaf, they’ll create art alongside one another at The Interval’s communal tables, and sell their pieces throughout the night; prices range from $20 to $1000 (artists keep 100%). Expect to see works in various media: drawings, pen and ink, graphite, sewing, AutoCad, 2D comedy, collage, typewriter and painting.

And don’t forget to bring your own notebook and art making materials to join in on the creative process, but please, nothing toxic or messy: no glitter, dusts, sprays or anything that has fumes.

In addition, Justin Charles Hoover, FMCAC’s new Creative Director will be available in The Interval’s common room in the back from 6-8 p.m. to answer questions in a conversational round table fashion about the Performance and Public Works’ request for proposals and the future of “Art at the Fort.”
