About: The tiny island and sardine capital of Swallow Falls falls on hard times as the world rejects its main export. Inventor Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) has his first success with the FLDSMDFR, a machine that can transform water into food. When the FLDSMDFR develops a mind of its own, it spawns wild food storms that threaten the great cities of the world. Flint now needs to find a way to stop his own creation. The film is based on the 1978 children’s book of the same name by Judi and Ron Barrett.
