KQED, The San Francisco Dance Film Festival + Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture

Jun 3rd @ 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

KQED and the San Francisco (SF) Dance Film Festival present short local dance films at FORT MASON FLIX at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.

Join KQED and the SF Dance Film Festival for a night of dance film at the FORT MASON FLIX drive-in! This night of shorts features top selections from the SF Dance Film Festival, alongside KQED Arts’ award-winning video series If Cities Could Dance, which features dancers across the country who represent their city’s signature moves.

The drive-in concludes with an exclusive preview screening of Mud Water, directed by local filmmaker My-Linh Le. Weaving together myth, movement, and snapshots of real life, Mud Water follows a crew of Oakland, CA turfers preparing for an upcoming dance battle and a man in search of his own shadow.

Join KQED and the SF Dance Film Festival for a night that expands what dance on film can be and see every move up-close on the big screen. View the complete program at KQED.org.

The screening happens on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 9:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
