Through Jan 17th

Join in the celebration of this year’s Good Food Awards on Friday, January 15 and Sunday, January 17. The weekend’s festivities — Awards Ceremony and Good Food Awards Marketplace — will take place entirely at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.

On Friday evening, January 15, the Good Food Awards Ceremony recognizes top food and drink makers in five US geographic regions and 13 culinary categories, including charcuterie, coffee, chocolate, cheese, beer, and spirits. Following the acceptance speeches, the reception will showcase food created by the winners themselves, in a vast regional buffet curated by ForageSF, paired with stellar cider, beer and spirits. It’s a chance to join the winners, Carlo Petrini, Alice Waters, Nell Newman, and many other luminaries for a special evening.

On Sunday, January 17, attendees of the Good Food Awards Marketplace will be able to taste and buy from entrants. Held alongside the Fort Mason Center Farmers’ Market, the Marketplace will welcome winning beer, cider, and spirits producers as well.  Early access tickets will be limited to 200 to allow for the chance to meet and talk with the producers and shop without the crowds. In addition, Carlo Petrini is making an appearance to present Slow Food’s newest project at 1 p.m., there will be a pop-up cookbook store, and the SCAA’s National Tasters Cup Championship will showcase the country’s top baristas as they vie for the national title.
