Bears, Bears & More Bears: Summer Class enrollment Blue Bear School of Music, Building D
Baby Bears, Bouncy Bears, Boogie Bears — how can anyone resist children’s music classes with names like this? Blue Bear School of Music offers classes for children as young as four months and as old as five in their Little Bears music program. And that’s a small part of Blue Bear’s music offerings. Beginning this month, enrollment starts for Blue Bear’s summer session. There is literally something for everyone at Fort Mason Center’s resident music school.
For older kids there are week-long summer camps with names like “Rock U 1” and “Rock U 2” or “Get Ready To Rock.” There are also short evening-length seminars for all ages on different topics relating to drums, guitar, vocals, and more. And, as always, there are group or individual classes — again for all ages — in instruments as diverse as sax or clarinet to mandolin and fiddle.
The nonprofit Blue Bear School of Music has been an integral part of the Fort Mason family for nearly 30 years. For more information about the school and a complete list of their extensive programs, visit www.bluebearmusic.org.
