The following represents our policy with regard to information gathered from web site visitors, Friends of the Fort members, newsletter subscribers, and those ordering tickets through our box office service.
Web Site Visitors
Visitors to www.fortmason.org are not required to log in and no personal information is collected. The foundation does utilize a web service to analyze general use to determine popular areas of the site, when the site is visited, etc. No personal information is associated with this analysis. Our web site includes many links to other web sites. We have no control over privacy issues that may arise from use of those sites.
Friends of the Fort
The Foundation receives and stores information on Friends of the Fort in order to provide benefits associated with membership. We do not sell or trade this information, but may use these names and addresses to communicate information about special offers or events at the Center to our members.
E-mail Newsletter Subscribers
We collect e-mail addresses from those who have elected to receive a brief monthly newsletter that announces upcoming events at Fort Mason Center. We do not sell or trade this information, but may communicate to those subscribers information about other special events or offers related to the Fort Mason Foundation or Fort Mason Center.
Box Office Information
The Fort Mason Center Box Office provides access to a ticket reservation service to assist organizations that produce shows here and to provide their patrons with convenience in the reservation process. While Fort Mason Center will not sell or trade data collected in box office transactions, we are not the proprietors of the information, and therefore cannot prevent event producers from selling or trading such information. Any information we collect in that process will be used solely for Fort Mason Center related events and offers unless permission to do otherwise is granted.
It is our goal to protect your personal information to the extent that we can. We cannot assume liability if existing security precautions fail to prevent abuse.
