 Herbst International Exhibition Hall
This striking, free-standing event space is located in the beautiful Presidio of San Francisco on the main post. HIEH has more than 5,000 square feet of open space that is perfect for regional, national, and international exhibitions and special events. The venue rental has been used for art shows, business meetings, fundraising galas, an automobile product launch, and an opera performance. The exhibition hall can accommodate as many as 600 people.
Located at the Presidio of San Francisco (see directions page), the Herbst International Exhibition Hall was originally designed and constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers in 1954 as the Post Exchange and was completely renovated in 1996 by the Fort Mason Foundation.
