Internationally renowned fiber artist and sculptor Alejandra Zermeño presents her work in The Mexican Museum’s Gallery A at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Zermeño explores figurative depictions of the human body, embellished with fiber, ceramic, plastic, and other materials to create compelling sculptures. She also assembles sculptures into tableaus and installations as a way to manipulate space and perception. Her work has been exhibited around the world at art centers in Mexico City, Tokyo, Germany, Spain, Canada, and the U.S.
