Young Performers Theatre stages Shakespeare’s classic comedy, As You Like It, at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Presented in the original Elizabethan language, As You Like It is a shorter version of the play suitable for families and children ages five years and older.

Follow the adventures of one of Shakespeare’s most acclaimed heroines, Rosalind, who travels her kingdom after banishment disguised as a youthful man named Ganymede. Accompanied by her cousin Celia, Rosalind reaches the forest where her father the duke lives in exile.

Rosalind meets and falls in love with Orlando, who has also been deprived of his birthright. The play explores themes of life and love and wraps up with families reunited, discovering new friends, and three romantic marriages in the final scene.
