Embark Gallery presents “Backbend,” an exhibit of 10 local artists exploring the role of optimism in contemporary discourse, at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. “Backbend” features artists using altered photographs, woven textiles, and sculptural installations to highlight how we process memories, the impulse to join a call to action, and the importance of achieving environmental legacies.
