BATS Improv: December Holiday Improv

Presented By

BATS Improv

Through Dec 31st

BATS Improv presents a trio of holiday-themed shows and a holiday party in December at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. On Fridays in December, the BATS Main Stage improvisers offer Theatresports On Ice … Without The Ice. BATS signature improve competition gets some holiday flair when seasonally themed teams challenge each other with games, scenes, and songs.

Old-school holiday shows star in Songs For A Sixpence on Saturday evenings in December. Classic Charles Dickens tales such as Oliver Twist (the musical) and A Christmas Carol inspire humorous holiday makeovers with contemporary twists.

BATS Improv welcomes all to the 2019 BATS Holiday Party on Monday, December 9, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This potluck affair offers camaraderie and holiday cheer with people from all over the BATS community. Free Admission (please bring a potluck item, especially a main or side dish).

Reserve space for the holiday party at: Facebook.com/events/1360139350830706 or Community.Improv.org/2019_holiday_party.

Something new on the improv scene happens when BATS Improv hosts Socially Inept: Comedians Roast the San Francisco Tech Scene on Thursday, December 12, 2019, 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ($19-$22). Visit www.eventbrite.com/e/socially-inept-tech-roast-show-tickets-82401385763 for details and tickets.

The grand finale on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 is BATS Improv’s New Year’s Eve Spectacular, which warms up the New Year’s Eve festivities early and finishes by 10:00 p.m. in time to watch midnight fireworks on the waterfront or travel to another party for a toast to 2020.
