Corks & Forks: A Culinary Art Experience

Join Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter (MPINCC) for an informative and unique wine, food, and art experience at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The “Corks & Forks: A Culinary Art Experience” main tasting and pairing event takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Gallery 308, Building A. Celebrated local caterers and wineries present tastings so that attendees can vote for the “Best Pairing” award.

An educational program precedes the main event in the Southside Theater, Building D, from 4:00 p.,m. to 5:30 p.m. Culinary scientist Ali Bouzari, author of Ingredient: Unveiling The Essential Elements Of Food, leads a fascinating workshop on the sensory inputs associated with flavor, how perception influences flavor impressions, and the fundamental, flavorful building blocks of food.

Participating caterers include: Atelier Fine Foods & Catering, Elaine Bell Catering , Feast Catering, Fraiche Catering, Global Gourmet Catering, La Bonne Cuisine Catering & Events, Ramekins Catering, Straw Catering, Treasury Wine Estates (On-Site Chef), and St. Francis Winery & Vineyards (On-Site Chef).

Participating wineries include: Buena Vista Winery, Chimney Rock Winery, Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards, MacPhail Wines, MacRostie Winery & Vineyards, Rutherford Hill Winery, Stag’s Leap Wine CellarsSt. Francis Winery & Vineyards, Sterling Vineyards, and William Hill Estate Winery.

Early bird registration for MPI members is $70 by Friday, March 16, 2018 and $90 afterward. Early bird registration for non-MPI members is $115 by Friday, March 16, 2018 and $145 afterward.
