Sep 2nd @ 1:00 p.m.

Discover a new way to paint with FLAX art & design’s “Exploring Abstract Acrylics” workshop at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Work with local artist Andrew Cook and Sennelier’s innovative abstract acrylics products to lay down highly pigmented, heavy-body paint on a variety of surfaces, including canvas, panels, paper, and more. Squeeze the versatile paint directly from its sturdy, flexible pouch and attach eight assorted paint tips to apply the pigments in unique ways, such as double or wavy lines in thin or thick dimensions.

Sennelier’s abstract acrylics are great for giant murals and urban art and come in 60 colors, including six iridescent and six fluorescent tints, 36 satin finishes, and 12 high-gloss versions. Create luminous, large scale images with this paint that offers great coverage and durability.

Cook demonstrates the Sennelier abstract acrylic paints and previews the new Raymar Linen Panels, which are great for plein air abstract painting outdoors. Participants have the opportunity to try the paints and panels on their own.
