Fine Arts Museums Of San Francisco: #Museum From Home

Presented By

The Fine Arts Museums Of San Francsico

The Fine Arts Museums Of San Francisco (FAMSF) — the deYoung and the Legion Of Honor — are participating in the fabulous and free online program, #MuseumFromHome. FAMSF joins museums and cultural institutions around the world in creating virtual resources to make art and culture accessible during the COVID-19 public health emergency.

The deYoung #Museum From Home features interactive exhibit guides for Chiura Obata, “Monet: The Late Years,” the Minecraft Teotihuacan map tour, and more. Don’t miss online resources for the deYoung’s current exhibition, “Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving;” recent exhibition, “Soul Of A Nation: Art In The Age Of Black Power 1963-1983;” and many more in the online exhibition archive. Other deYoung exhibitions are viewable in the Google Arts & Culture resource, including “Ruth Asawa: A Working Life.”

Similar to the deYoung, the Legion Of Honor has an interactive #MuseumFromHome resource, a beautiful exhibition archive, and a collections archive. Visit the FAMSF’s “Insights From The deYoung and Legion Of Honor” digital story resource for in-depth exhibition guides, including “Truth & Beauty: The Pre-Raphaelites & The Old Masters.”

All of these virtual experiences are free and available 24 hours per day on a daily basis.
