Fanfare Zambaleta features some of the Bay Area’s most exciting young players and seasoned veterans who emulate the great Balkan brass bands of the past and present. Audiences can expect to hear music that pulls from Romani, Serbian, Macedonian and Greek brass bands of years past, that’s played with both passion and dedication. This is a family-friendly performance.
This performance by Fanfare Zambaleta is hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 100 performances by over 60 different artists, ensembles and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
