Through Sep 10th

Honor the memory of the late actor Robin Williams by attending the stage version of The Fisher King movie for which he received an Academy Award nomination for best actor. Proceeds from the production and raffle tickets sold during performances benefit a group of charities.

The movie is loosely based on an Arthurian legend about the mythical Fisher King, a wounded hero who lives in a wasteland and waits for someone to heal him and his land and protect the Holy Grail, a powerful symbol. Robin Williams earned a Golden Globe Best Actor Award for his portrayal of the deranged homeless man who was traumatized during a crime, and Jeff Bridges played the depressed man seeking redemption from the tragic act that triggered the terrible crime. Together, the two wounded men embark on a quest to save each other.

Wonderful local actors reprise the roles from the movie on stage in this heartwarming, quirky production.
