About: Shocked to discover that they have both died in a car accident and now remain as ghosts in their rustic Connecticut home, Barbara (Davis) and Adam Maitland (Baldwin) must confront an additional horror: the new owners Delia (O’Hara) and Charles (Jones) Deetz.  An urbane New York sculptor with avant-garde 1980’s taste, Delia plans a radical home renovation – and the Maitland’s unsuccessfully try to haunt her and her plans away.  Trailed by Delia’s stepdaughter Lydia (Ryder), an angsty teen who sees and befriends them, the Maitlands turn to the “bio-exorcist” Beetlejuice (Keaton) to reclaim their afterlives.  Mayhem ensues.
