About: Taika Waititi helms this third installment of Thor films and the 17^th adventure in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, driving humor, missed directions, and camp fashion through the apocalyptic storyline. With the passing of Odin (Hopkins), Asgard’s erased and imprisoned first daughter Hela (Blanchett) returns to claim the throne.  In pursuit, her younger brothers Thor (Hemsworth) and Loki (Hiddleston) get waylaid on Sakaar, a scavenger planet ruled by the gladiatorial aficionado the Grandmaster (Goldblum).  After they discover old work buddies, Valkyries, and a budding underclass revolution, our heroes return to Asgard to stave off the foretold end-time of Ragnorak.  Cue Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song,” and final battles begin.
