Toy Story
About: Pixar’s first film – the first computer-animated feature and the first effort by director John Lasseter – launched a world of beloved characters, sequels, and, yes, toys. Cowboy Woody (Hanks) and astronaut Buzz Lightyear (Allen) start as rivals for young Andy’s attention (Morris), but the two must learn to work together when their infighting lands them out on their own. The journey home includes scrapes, existential stakes, and last-second escapes.
