TRON
About: Following a 1976 encounter with the Atari video game Pong, Director Steve Lisberger imagined a film set inside this computer world. In Tron, he introduces Kevin Flynn (Bridges), a programmer at ENCOM whose innovative game designs are stolen by his rival Ed Dillinger (Warner). As Dillinger’s star rises within the company, he fires Flynn and becomes more deeply entrenched with ENCOM’s Master Control Program. Flynn investigates Dillinger’s theft, aided by his former colleagues Alan Bradley (Boxleitner) and Dr. Lora Baines (Morgan), only to find himself transported and trapped within the game worlds he created. A computer revolution – and the only way out – looms.
