About: It’s Baltimore, 1962, and Tracy Turnblad (Rikki Lake) is the epitome of the modern teenager at odds with her conventional mother. Tracy finds herself at the center of controversy when she champions racial integration on the local Corny Collins Dance Show.  Featuring John Waters’ regular coterie of talent – including Divine as Tracy’s long-suffering mother Edna – and surprise turns by Debbie Harry, Ric Ocasek, and Pia Zadora, a cavalcade of dance crazy teens, hair hoppers, and beatniks seize the spotlight for changing times.
