About: Based on Chris Van Allsburg’s children’s book, Christmas Eve 1956 finds a boy skeptical of Santa Claus startled to see a steam train arrive on his street. When he sneaks out to take a look, the conductor invites him aboard the “Polar Express” — a locomotive whose destination is the North Pole. Christmas magic doesn’t always come by sleigh.
