The Secret Of Nimh

About: The widow mouse Mrs. Brisby (Elizabeth Hartman) must move her family before farmer Fitzgibbon (Tom Hatten) starts plowing his fields, but her son Timothy (Ian Fried) falls ill and can’t leave their cinder block house. When the Great Owl (John Carradine) sends her to Nicodemus (Derek Jacobi), the leader of a wildly inventive group of rats, help seems at hand. But as family secrets and secret plans come to light, the rival rat Jenner (Paul Shennar) seems intent on mayhem and disaster. The film is based on Robert C. O’Brien’s 1971 novel, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.
