Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory
About: Roald Dahl’s 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory gets its big screen treatment with Gene Wilder’s Chocolate Factory owner — Willy Wonka — front and center. When the young dreamer Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum) finds a Golden Ticket in a Wonka chocolate bar, he and his grandfather Joe (Jack Albertson) get a once-in-a-lifetime tour of Wonka’s factory and the many mysteries the tycoon genius has locked behind its gates.
