Record Twenty Twenty: A FORT MASON FLIX Presented by San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival, Zaccho Dance Theatre & Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture

Join The San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival and Zaccho Dance Theatre for the first live drive-in screening of their award-winning film RECORD TWENTY TWENTY!

The San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival is the Bay Area’s premiere aerial arts event featuring internationally recognized aerial artists and exciting newcomers breaking into the field. This biennial festival brings together spectacle, daring athleticism, aerial dance, and circus to create a dynamic three-day performance event. Founded in 2014 at the Zaccho Studio in Bayview Hunters Point, the San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival is now located at Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture in the beautiful Marina District.  Against the backdrop of the San Francisco Bay, aerial artists bring stunning and innovative performance to local audiences and tourists alike.

The screening of RECORD TWENTY TWENTY is San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival’s first fundraiser for our upcoming presentation in 2022.

In this innovative and collaborative video project, the San Francisco Aerial Arts Festival brings together 16 international aerial artists to tell a collective narrative during this time of uncertainty and social discord. Taking place on mountain tops, old forts, bridges, and in gardens, this work reveals an intimate perspective on the world we find ourselves navigating.

A film by Joanna Haigood and Mary Ellen Strom. This film is a Berlin Indie Film Festival winner.

In collaboration with aerial artists Veronica Blair, Lindsey Butcher, Beth Clarke, Terry Crane, Joana Dias, Pamela Donohoo, Deon Fox, Jo Kreiter, Jodi Lomask, Wanda Moretti, Amelia Rudolph, Alice Sheppard, Xochitl Sosa, Jason Span, and Julia Taffe, and composers Walter Kitundu, Marco Castelli, Melanie DeMore, Marcus Shelby, Laine Rettmer, and Lauren Weinger.
