As Heidi Klum taught us, “in fashion, one day you’re In, and the next day you’re Out.”  When top model Derek Zoolander (Stiller) finds himself ousted by rising star Hansel (Wilson), he returns to his New Jersey family but fails to connect with their life as coal miners.  Seduced back into fashion by the nefarious designer Jacobim Mugatu (Ferrell), Zoolander becomes the key pawn in a plot to ensure cheap labor for the industry.  Only by joining forces with Hansel and Matilda Jeffries (Taylor), the reporter who down him wrong, can our hero defeat Mugatu’s plot, find love, discover philanthropy, and develop the ultimate successor (“Magnum”) to his signature model look (“Blue Steel”).
