Building on the success of Off the Grid’s Fort Mason food markets — which touched off the local night market movement when it launched in 2010 — as well as the popularity of West Coast Craft, the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier pop-up shopping experience, this market stands out as a family-friendly, one-stop-shop holiday experience, featuring more than 100 top retail vendors alongside exceptional food and drink options from Off the Grid.
Live music performances, DJs, a holiday ornament workshop, special menus, and art installations from FMCAC resident organizations are also featured at the market. Adding extra holiday sparkle are visits from Santa and characters from the Mark Foehringer Dance Project’s Nutcracker Sweets, a screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and a snow alley for photos and fun.
“Fort Mason Center is known for being a gathering place, a space for people to exchange ideas, experience beauty, and connect with different modes of art and cultural expressions,” said Mike Buhler, FMCAC’s President and CEO. “We’re excited to collaborate with our partners to offer another way for people to come together, celebrate the season, support local arts organizations and small businesses, and enjoy the natural beauty of the campus.”
