Greens Restaurant celebrates its 40th anniversary (1979-2019) with a Special Dining Series featuring six acclaimed San Francisco Bay Area chefs at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Each chef designs a vegetarian four-course prix fixe meal inspired by historic Greens menus and seasonal local produce. Optional beverage pairings are also available.
Reem Assil of Reem’s California and Dyafa presents the first special dinner on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Chez Panisse‘s Alice Waters creates a culinary masterpiece on Monday, August 5, 2019. Suzette Gresham, co-owner of Acquarello, provides the repast for Wednesday, September 11, 2019.
The celebration continues on Monday, October 7, 2019, when Nightbird‘s Kim Alter shares her unique prix fixe dining experience. Pioneering chef Tanya Holland, who reigns at Brown Sugar Kitchen, imbues her presentation with down-home, Southern-style flavors on Monday, November 4, 2019. Green’s final 40th-anniversary special dinner originates with Prospect‘s Pam Mazzola on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.
