International Caritas Consortium 2019: Celebrating 40 Years Of Caring Science

Caring science luminaries from all over the world gather at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture to celebrate 40 years of caring science and share expert knowledge. Join Northern California Kaiser Permanente nurses and many other care providers for the “International Caritas Consortium 2019.” Special guests include Dr. Jean Watson of the Watson Caring Science Institute (WCSI) and author of the seminal book, Nursing: The Philosophy and Science Of Caring.

Attend inspiring sessions and meet fellow dedicated caregivers at this fantastic event on beautiful San Francisco Bay. Early Bird registration through Thursday, September 3, 2019 is $200 for Kaiser employees for the full conference or $100 for either Thursday or Friday attendance. Kaiser employees may apply for tuition reimbursement and travel fees.

Early Bird fees for WCSI affiliates are $125 per daily session or $250 for the full conference. Regular attendee fees are $300 for the full conference and $150 for Thursday or Friday sessions. Registration fees include breakfast, lunch, and continuing education hours. Fees increase by $25-$50 after September 3, 2019.

For added inspiration, attend the three-hour Hornblower Yachts’ dinner cruise on Thursday, October 17, “On The Waves With Dr. Jean Watson,” from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for $130 (Boarding 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.) Enjoy dinner, drinks, and dancing on a beautiful bay expedition.
