The Long Now Foundation

Oct 4th @ 12:00 p.m.

The Long Now Foundation invites members from near and far to celebrate its 20th anniversary at the prestigious Member Summit at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Only Long Now members can attend the event — join now and participate in a multi-faceted summit with distinguished speakers, long-term thought leaders, innovators, and people who are interested in future visions for the human race and the world.

The Long Now Member Summit includes member-led “Ignite” talks, unconference-style, member-led discussions, updates on major Long Now projects, and a display of components from the 10,000-Year Clock of the Long Now. Board members such as Danny Hillis and co-founder Stewart Brand take the stage for further discussion and Q&A sessions. The summit concludes with a party and celebration.

Admission includes dinner from Off the Grid food trucks, a drink ticket for signature cocktails curated by Long Now’s The Interval bar, and coffee and snacks throughout the day. Buyers of the $75 Stainless Steel ticket watch the evening keynote via a projected simulcast in Gallery 308 or The Interval, both in Building A. Higher-level tickets include seating in the Cowell Theater and other benefits.
