The Long Now Foundation Talks About Long-Term Thinking

Jul 20th @ 7:00 p.m.Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture’s (FMCAC) resident organization The Long Now Foundation offers talks featuring expert perspectives on long-term topics. The talks are available to the public as live, in-person and streaming events on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Long Now Live. Hundreds of seminars since the beginning of the program in 2003 are also available to view in the archives.

- Wednesday, July 20, 2022, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PST — Former mayor of Stockton, CA and economic advisor to California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michael Tubbs discusses “Upsetting The Setup: Creating A California For All.” The event takes place in FMCAC’s Cowell Theater. Tubbs has written The Deeper The Roots: A Memoir Of Hope And Home and is the founder of End Poverty In California (EPIC).
