Celebrate the origins of Magic Theatre in the late 1960s and early 1970s with a trip to Andy Warhol’s Factory during the Magic Masquerade Gala in Gallery 308 at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Magic’s avant-garde theater atmosphere in the San Francisco Bay Area exploded on the arts scene around the same time as Warhol’s pop-art empire flowered on the East Coast.

Model Warhol attire, dance, and dine in a fabulous re-creation of Warhol’s Factory while supporting Magic’s innovative dramatic programming. Commemorate an era of experimentation and unbridled creativity and help ensure that Magic continues to keep radically unique theater alive.

The evening includes a presentation of Magic’s 2019 Sam Shepard Awards to be conferred upon Rebecca Eisen and playwright and director Octavio Solis.
