Magic Theatre’s venerable stage hosts a double bill of dance and drama at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The New Ground Dance Theatre performs a premiere of Shekinah, a dance story incorporating themes of consciousness, revealing splits in society, reviving ancient wisdom, and the power of human heart connections.

The evening includes Watch Yourself, a short play written and directed by Karen Byrnes. Watch Yourself is a 1940s-era detective story taking place in San Francisco. An intrepid female sleuth races to stop shipyard sabotage and save lives in this atmospheric drama.
