The Mexican Museum invites aspiring printmakers of all ages to the “Family Sunday: Printmaking” event at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. This event takes place in conjunction with the acclaimed Mexican Museum exhibit “Family, Homeland, Revolution: Stories of The Chicano Movement.”

The free Family Sunday program teaches participants the history and political significance of printmaking and provides hand-on exercises to explore block printing as a process. Attendees discover the value of printmaking as a political tool, form of self-expression, and a way to develop an individual style. The Mexican Museum provides materials for printmaking during the program.
