The Oakland-based group MO’FONE, featuring two saxmen and one drummer, is some of the “funkiest jazz– and jazziest funk–being played today.” With inventive, original, and high-energy compositions, MO’FONE’s unique instrumentation and creates a huge sound that eclipses its compact size. This is shared bill with The Amber and the Sharman Duran Trio.
