The San Francisco Art Institute | Fort Mason Campus (SFAI) presents “Moira,” a solo exhibit by artist Susan Lai, on the outside wall of the SFAI Swell Gallery in Pier 2 at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. “Moira” is an introspective piece examining impressions left behind — the residual lingering of thoughts, emotions, and intangible physical elements that are mixed and perceived in individual conscious experiences.

“Moira” seeks to transcend sensory limitations and seemingly static environmental elements. The artwork evokes relationships, the migrations of interactions into new juxtapositions, and the transformations and metamorphoses of conscious thoughts.

The opening reception takes place on Friday, August 24, 2018, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
