Museo Italo Americano presents Marisa Ceccarelli, geologist, author, wildlife illustrator, and environmental advocate, who delivers an inspiring biodiversity lecture at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Ceccarelli is the former environmental education director at Circeo National Park near Rome in Italy. She specializes in maintaining species biodiversity, marine conservation, and sustainable education for all ages.

Ceccarelli takes the audience on incredible journeys through the unique landscapes of Italian parks by sharing her extensive knowledge, personal experiences, and beautiful nature illustrations. Her lecture focuses on the small, hidden delights of nature. She explains how the relationship between Italians and nature has created and sustains Italy’s valuable, rare cultural and natural heritage.
