Museo Italo Americano presents Marisa Ceccarelli, children’s book author and illustrator, for a lively family program at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Ceccarelli is a geologist, wildlife illustrator, writer, and former environmental education director at Circeo National Park near Rome in Italy.

Ceccarelli reads in Italian from her delightful children’s book, Teo e Il Tempo Perduto (Teo & The Lost Time), which tells the story of Teo the mouse and his friends who live in Appia Antica, a regional park at the edge of Rome. She also displays her original book illustrations in beautiful color.

A book signing and light refreshments follow the talk.
