Jun 24th @ 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Discover the culinary treasures of Italy’s Piedmont (Piemonte) region at the Museo Italo Americano’s lecture and tasting event, “Piemonte: Land of Slow Food,” at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Baia Pasta‘s Renato Sardo conducts an illustrated lecture, a wine-and-cheese pairing presentation, and a tasting of Piemonte’s famous exports. Sardo is the former director of Slow Food International and is an expert on the Piemontese wines and alpine cheeses of his homeland.

Attendees discover and taste famed wines of the region, including Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, and Moscato. These renowned varietals pair well with cheeses from the Piemonte.

RSVP recommended at (415) 673-2200, info@SFMuseo.org, or online.
