Pinocchio

Presented By

Young Performers Theatre

Through Oct 16th

Meet Geppetto the woodcarver and Pinocchio the magical puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy at Young Performers Theatre in Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Geppetto carves his puppet masterpiece in a quaint Italian village while wishing he had a son. As soon as he finishes carving a spirited face into an ordinary piece of wood, Pinocchio begins talking.

When Geppetto finishes the lively puppet, it becomes mischievous, willful, and hungry, and is capable of running away, eating, and worst of all, telling lies. After being robbed, imprisoned, and narrowly escaping death, Pinocchio finally learns that his desire to be a real boy can never come true until he mends his ways.

There are no shows on Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9, 2016.
