Abhinaya Dance Company performs Sanchaari — Elaboration, a creative interpretation of Sanchaari Bhava, an ancient Bharatanatyam dance style. For the past 36 years, Abhinaya dancers have been elaborating on traditional Sanchaari Bhava techniques to refine this 2000-year-old art form and create distinctive dance pieces. Individual dancers use their imaginations, skills, and experiences to embellish classic dance formats and present memorable contemporary compositions.

This performance by Abhinaya Dance Company are hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC.
