Sex, Women & Tango

San Francisco International Arts Festival

Through May 28th

Tango*Confusion presents Sex, Women & Tango, a gender-bending theatrical production that explores Argentine tango beyond its traditional boundaries. Sponsored by the Alma del Tango/Tango Con*Fusión dance group, Sex, Women & Tango updates this century-old dance with innovations such as solo and group performances, leaders and followers exchanging roles, and the introduction of free movements outside of the tango format.

These performances by Alma del Tango/Tango Con*Fusión are hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 100 performances by over 60 different artists, ensembles and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
