Through Feb 23rd

Ethnographic arts enthusiasts have a fantastic opportunity to attend two major, museum-quality art shows co-located in one venue — Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture’s Festival Pavilion — at the San Francisco Tribal & Textile Arts Show and the American Indian Art Show San Francisco.

Originally known as the Marin American Indian Art Show, the 2020 show has moved to join the Tribal & Textile Arts Show in San Francisco. This wonderful combination has resulted in more than 70 dealers, artists, and galleries presenting museum-quality installations of incredible art from Asia, Oceania, Africa, Indonesia, the Middle East, and the indigenous people of Native and Latin America together in one venue. The American Indian Art Show participants add antique Native American, pre-Columbian, Spanish Colonial, and contemporary American Indian art to the exhibition.

The 2020 special events include: “Ralph Ziman: The Casspir Project” exhibit and “Variations On A Loom: The J. B. Moore Collection” exhibit. Special talks and book launch presentations are also scheduled during the event weekend.

The early preview party takes place on Friday, February 21, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ($75). General Admission is $20 per day or $30 for the run of the show.
