Homo Sapiens Kybernetike Exhibit

Presented By

San Francisco Art Institute | Fort Mason Campus

The San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) | Fort Mason Campus presents an exhibit of paintings by three artists, “Homo Sapiens Kybernetike,” at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. “Homo Sapiens Kybernetike” explores transcendent, cybernetic consciousness.

Painter and poet Eleanor Schnarr is fascinated by esoteric disciplines such as thought entropy, third-wave cyborgs, and neuroscience, pairing her writing with oil compositions. Christa Grenawalt captures out-of-control forces inhabiting natural landscapes by painting outdoors while facing powerful oceans and waves crashing against cliffs. Isabel Goldstein also participates in the exhibit.

“Homo Sapiens Kybernetike” is on view in SFAI’s Atrium Gallery from January 17, 2020 through January 28, 2020, daily, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
