XL Catlin Art Prize Traveling Exhibition

The San Francisco Art Instutute | Fort Mason Campus is the first stop for the “XL Catlin Art Prize Traveling Exhibition,” which showcases the work of 40 student artists, who are finalists for the XL Catlin Art Prize, at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. The 40 artworks include drawings, paintings, prints, tapestries, and other media from artists aged 19 to 27 years old attending 24 schools and residing in four countries and 19 U.S. states.

The Catlin Art Prize competition received more than 700 submissions from 140 schools offering graduate and undergraduate art programs. Exhibiting finalist artists include: Hannah Aaron, Sophia Adeyemo-Ross, Jonathan Aller, Jared Andreas, Felipe Baeza, Aidan Barker-Hill, Merritt Barnwell, Esther Candari, Talia Connelly, Brad Davis, Bria Erby, Jenna Gribbon, Harrison Halaska, Austin Harris, Alea Hurst, Monica Ikegwu, Esteban Jefferson, Jessica Lancaster, Krystle Lemonias, Eunice Liu, Sandra Liu, Brian Madonna, Larry Madrigal, Kade Marsili, Emile Mausner, Luisiana Mera, Bonnie Morano, Kennedy Morgan, Prinston Nnanna, David Ntephe, Abelardo Quiñones, Elise Raborg, Cristobal Rodriguez, Jared Seff, Georgios Taxidis, Dani Toral, Jacob Troyli, Helena Vallée Dallaire, Raelis Vasquez, and Anthony White.

The public opening reception takes place on Friday, August 31, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Please RSVP.)
