SFDanceworks Season Three brings premieres and established work to the Cowell Theater in Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Renowned Spanish choreographer Nacho Duato’s 1983 masterpiece “Jardi Tancat,” with music by Maria del Mar Bonet is on stage in a spirited revival. Also on the program is Danielle Rowe’s choreographed work set to a commissioned score by Alton San Govanni, performed live by musician David Knight of the band Low Roar.

SFDanceworks Artistic Director James Sofranko presents a premiere choreographed for Franz Schubert’s impromptus performed live by pianist Ronny Michael Greenberg. Penny Saunders has reworked her delightful duet “Snap,” originally created at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, with music by Olafur Arnolds and Nils Frahm.

Participating dancers include: Garrett Anderson, Brett Conway, Katerina Eng, Dana Genshaft, Britt Juleen, Nicholas Korkos, Laura O’Malley, Danielle Rowe, and Anne Zivolich-Adams.
