Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture & SFIAF

Through Jun 2nd

Physical, visual, and dance theater troupe Spitfire Company presents Antiwords, an internationally acclaimed performance, in the Southside Theater at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Set in a Czech brewery in 1975, Antiwords is a satirical retelling of Vaclav Havel’s beloved play, Audience. Darkly humorous, Antiwords features two masked female performers sparring about gender and espionage in a highly absurdist production of few words.

Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) hosts these performances by Spitfire Company as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 23, 2019 to June 2, 2019 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 40 performances by nearly 50 artists, ensembles, and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
