About: Having been accused of theft and fired from his job on Thursday, Craig Jones (Ice Cube) spends his Friday with his best friend Smokey (Chris Tucker), a marijuana dealer who’s facing some job trouble of his own. While they hang out on the porch and try to settle Smokey’s dilemma, neighborhood drama — from romance to a drive-by shooting — make solutions anything but simple. The film launched two sequels and an animated series. Last Friday is in the works for 2022.
